Adlibio (Pty) Ltd in conjunction with Huvepharma, Hy-line International and Serfontein Poultry (agents for Hendrix Genetics and Dekalb in South Africa) held a very successful 4th Layer Seminar on 17 September 2025 at the Birchwood Hotel & Conference Centre.   

More than 250 delegates from South Africa and neighbouring countries attended the seminar in person. We were privileged to have 6 international speakers: Fernando Carrasquer (H&N International), Vitor Arantes (Hy-Line International), Dr. Nati Elkin (biovac), Estella Leentfaar (Hendrix Genetics), Dr. Roberto Neto ( Cargill) and Dr. Anandha Narayanan ( Natural Remedies).  The world class local speaker; GG Alcock (KasiNomics) entertained us with a new perspective on the local egg market. 

Adlibio (Pty) Ltd presented the 1st Nutriversity workshop to 25 delegates from African countries presented by Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. The training included an AFGRI factory visit and lectures on Huvepharma’s innovative solutions for poultry, Biochem’s toxin management control and the potential and application of Biostrong in poultry by Cargill. The workshop was closed with a  visit to a wildlife centre.

The young and energetic team from Adlibio attended the 2025 Alzu tour de farm on 2 November 2025 in Middelburg. Adlibio was a proud sponsor of prize money for winners. It was great fun and we will surely attend next year.
