LAYER SEMINAR 2022
Adlibio (Pty) Ltd in conjunction with Huvepharma and Serfontein Poultry (agents for Hendrix Genetics and Dekalb in South Africa) hold a very successful 1st Layer Seminar on 25 May 2022 at the Birchwood Hotel & Conference Centre. We were privilege to have 3 international speakers: Jeroen Visscher from Hendrix Genetics, Carlos de la Cruz (Chantelle Fryer) from Evonik and Robert Serwata from Huvepharma.
5 World class local speakers; Christian Zimelka and Gavin Knox-Grant entertained us with a new perspective on egg marketing. Jannie Maritz from Adlibio explained crucial nutritional matters, Dr Scott Elliott and Dr.Tiaan Cilliers from Protectachik pressed the importance of practical hands-on management of flocks and production costs.
More than 140 delegates from South Africa and neighbouring countries attended the seminar in person and 81 participants from 12 counties (Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Zambia, Kenya, Mauritius, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Tanzania) joined us virtually.
